well, KORG is a good option if it is affordable for you.., Or you YAMAHA is the best I've seen, coz the programmable features as are cool.

now days it's all about digital music, so if you have a good PC with good configs you can just buy a nice sound interface by spending a somewhere $200 - $300 then all you need is a normal MIDI keyboard, and a good sampler software like REASON 3.0 or 4.0 (pretty sure you can find it). so you can get really good cost cutting by that way, and the delay you can reduce it to unnoticeable level through the software. and the Driver softawre of the sound interface.

And the beats and the voice that you have in REASON is awsom.. trust me I know.
